Η τηλεοπτική σειρά «10η εντολή» χάραξε τη δική της πορεία στην ιστορία της ελληνικής τηλεόρασης και μας μύησε με τις μοναδικές μελαγχολικές μουσικές αφηγήσεις της.
Η 10η εντολή δε γνώρισε στο ελληνικό μόνο τα μελαγχολικά ταξίδια των Madrugada αλλά και άλλων καλλιτεχνών που δεν άκουγε το ευρύ κοινό. Η αγαπημένη σειρά που μας χάρισε pure σκηνές ψυχολογικού αστυνομικού θρίλερ και εξαιρετικές ερμηνείες ήταν το ίδιο απλόχερη και στην επιλογή της μουσικής επένδυσης, χαρίζοντάς μας μια νέα επαφή με τραγούδια που δεν είχαμε ξανακούσει.
Το κεντρικό θέμα της σειράς περιστρέφεται γύρω από τις καταστάσεις που μπορούν να ωθήσουν ένα άτομο να διαπράξει φόνο. Αναμειγνύει στοιχεία από διάφορα είδη, όπως το δράμα, τις αστυνομικές αφηγήσεις, τα θρίλερ, και ενίοτε ενσωματώνει μαύρη κωμωδία σε ορισμένα επεισόδια. Κάθε επεισόδιο διαρκεί συνήθως κατά μέσο όρο 45 λεπτά και υιοθετεί τη μορφή ψυχο-ημερολογίου κατά την εξέλιξή του. Πολλές αυτόνομες αφηγήσεις μέσα στη σειρά αντλούν έμπνευση από πραγματικά εγκλήματα που έχουν συγκεντρώσει σημαντική προσοχή στον ελληνικό δημόσιο διάλογο.
Η μουσική όμως έχει κεντρικό ρόλο στη 10η εντολή και αξίζει να θυμόμαστε το μεράκι που έδειξαν οι δημιουργοί της και δεν είναι ντροπή αγαπητοί μουσικόφιλοι πως πολλά απ’ αυτα τα τραγούδια τα μάθαμε από αυτή την αγαπημένη ελληνική σειρά.
